“Compassion for others begins with kindness to ourselves.”
-Pema Chödrön
At Spectrum Health and Wellness, our mission is to create a nurturing sanctuary for individuals and families seeking partnership in their commitment to health, wellness, and joy.
We believe strongly in the celebration of intersectional perspectives, and the importance of client agency within the mental health treatment experience. We hope to empower folx to exercise autonomy over their well-being.
In responding to our clients' needs, we prioritize respect and understanding beyond traditional notions of respectability. Our approach is politically aware, decolonial, and liberation-focused, recognizing that mental health is deeply interconnected with social and systemic injustices.
